Anyway, New Zealand was amazing. I gorged myself on fish and chips, went bungee jumping, tried skiing and failed completely but still got to flirt with the ski boys, ate more fish and chips, climbed a glacier, caught a cold, hunted for glow-worms, star-gazed, ate more fish and chips, and drank amazing NZ beer to my heart's content. It was epic to the extreme. I might post a couple of my more artistic photos later on this week.
We stopped in Hong Kong on our way back, which makes it my third trip there. We hit the Philippines tropical storm on the way over and had some nasty turbulence. It caught up with us later on in Hong Kong, but the rain was spaced out and helped cut the heat. I bought lots of cool stuff, including a bird cage, a lucky cricket cage, a couple of horsehair paint brushes, and...a couple other things that I can't pull off of the top of my mind.
But now I'm back in Bangkok and I'm sad because the last of the five have left me here all alone. I start on my summer job in finance in a couple of weeks, but at least I have a gem-filled trip to Burma on Saturday to take my mind off of that looming menace.
So, to wrap things up, I'll try to post things more often, and I might even try my hand at some comic strips later on, if I can find to energy and motivation.
